Join Heather Sheets & Sarah Paz Hyde for a special sonic sanctuary collaboration at the East Berlin Community Center. The evening flow includes 3 (introductory) focuses: the frame drum, handpan, and closes with a sound meditation.
FRAME DRUM • Connect with your innate being and the beat within, in this playful workshop. Heather will share the teachings of Miranda Rondeau with the elemental strokes of the frame drum and a song for each, inspiring Oneness and harmony with self and our planet.
HANDPAN • In this play lab, join Sarah to meet your musical self and discover your unique touch. Learn introductory handpan techniques & rhythms aimed at fostering fun with simple melodies. In this space, music meets meditation, and meditation meets the muse within.
SOUND MEDITATION • Heather and Sarah will guide a powerful evening sound journey where the Native American-style flute, drum, handpan melodies and vocal explorations meet gongs, singing bowls, chimes and other elemental sounds. We invite you to travel inward together, through the peaks & valleys of the innerverse, surfing the energies of celestial soundscapes that encourage deep states of rest & relaxation.
