Join Heather at Wholly Holistic in Hanover for an opportunity to unwind at the end of the work week.
Our current reality often has our sympathetic nervous (fight or flight) system on over-drive. This can leave us feeling anxious, stressed and even cause health issues. The key to combating this state is activating our parasympathetic nervous (rest and digest) system. Meditation is just one way to slow down and sound can help to relax and lead to a parasympathetic state. Let's take time together to pause, rest, relax and restore.
Heather will guide participants with some basic breathing prompts as they settle in to the space. Then allow yourself to be guided with the soothing sounds of flutes, drums, voice, rattles, rainstick, gong, and chimes.
Heather aims to create a nurturing and supportive environment conducive to states of relaxation and deep healing.
Please bring yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, eye pillows or anything else you may need to be as comfortable as possible
